Whether you are in a new role and want to refine your blood pressure measuring technique, or you are a more experienced clinician who has questions about challenging cases, this CPD-accredited workshop is for you.

Led by an experienced clinical specialist and facilitator, the Hypertension Masterclass will cover the following content:

• How to spot hypertension – signs, symptoms, and risk factors
• Practicalities of blood pressure measurement, and the importance of validated blood pressure monitors
• Prevalence of hypertension: who does it affect, and what is the impact?
• Tips for non-pharmacological management
• What medications and when?

This session will highlight the relationship between health inequalities and effective hypertension case-finding and management, so you are encouraged to think about your local practice population as you listen. You will then have the opportunity to ask questions of our expert facilitator – please do come prepared with any specific questions or issues you would like to discuss.
