This 4 hour face to face course covers how to accurately record a 12 Lead ECG and covers basic interpretation skills and is suitable for any healthcare professional who is required to undertake this skill as part of their role. This course is particularly popular with staff working in primary care or with patients where medication may have an effect on the cardiac conduction system and require regular monitoring.
The course will cover the basic anatomy and physiology of the heart, the conduction system, accurate placement of the leads and the steps involved in ECG recognition, including ST elevation, extended QT interval, and other appropriate abnormalities.
